Movie Synopsis

In the Bronx, 15-year-old Tito Morales races e-bikes to escape the streets and protect his  mom Socorro and little brother Antha. But when he sneaks Antha into a crew showdown, a rival’s bullet tears through the boy—meant for Tito. Antha survives, scarred inside and out. Devastated, Socorro packs the family and flees west to Rancho Cucamonga, California, chasing safety and a clean slate.

Suburbia feels alien: palm-lined cul-de-sacs, kids riding e-bikes for fun. Tito unpacks resentment with his bike—until he meets Holden, a brilliant, bullied tech nerd who mods high-performance rides, and Guillermo, Holden’s fiercely loyal best friend with his own buried pain. For the first time, Tito finds brothers who don’t demand blood to prove loyalty.

Trouble arrives fast. Jake Carrington—spoiled son of the corrupt local DA—rules the local track with money, connections, and a vicious crew. Jake targets Holden, mocks the “new swimmer” (Tito), and escalates to chases and a brutal ambush beating. Tito limps home bloodied; Socorro begs him to walk away. Tito wants to—but old instincts scream fight.

Katie, Jake’s ex with quiet strength and hidden wounds, sees Tito’s heart beneath the scars. Their growing connection offers real hope, but Jake’s jealousy turns deadly. The tension ignites at the Race of Champions—the Inland Empire’s biggest underground e-bike showdown. Tito throws down the gauntlet: one race, winner takes respect and the loser’s bike. If Tito wins, Jake leaves them all alone forever. If he loses, his bike—and his friends bikes’—are gone, and the violence never stops.

As race day looms, Tito trains with Holden and Guillermo, fusing Bronx grit with California ingenuity. Socorro watches her son rebuild, not alone, but surrounded by chosen family. Antha hands him their father’s good-luck card one last time.

Under golden dusk, Tito throttles forward—not just to win, but to prove he can protect without destroying, love without fear, and ride toward a future that finally breaks the cycle.
